Editions Collection
To create an Editions, start by selecting the "Editions: Same Artwork" option on the "Create" page.
Editions: Ideal for limited copies of a single artwork. Set the number of copies post-deployment.
Connecting Your Wallet
Before you proceed, make sure your wallet is connected. If it isn’t, click the "Connect Wallet" button to establish a connection. If your wallet is already connected, you can skip this step. Connecting your wallet is crucial for deploying the project on the blockchain and linking it to your wallet, removing the need for usernames or passwords as your wallet serves as your authenticator.
Setting Up Your Editions Collection
After connecting your wallet, click the “Create” button. You will be redirected to the digital collectible creation page. Select the “Editions: Same Artwork” option and start creating.
The minimum requirements include:
Project Name
Project Description
At Least One Artwork
You will also need sufficient funds in your wallet to cover the blockchain gas fees for deployment.
Form Fields
Here’s a breakdown of the primary fields in the Editions collection setup form: 1. Connecting Your Wallet
Connect your wallet using the "Connect Wallet" button. This step is required to deploy your project and verify your identity through your wallet.
2. Collection Name
This is the name that identifies your collection:
It will be recorded on the blockchain.
It will appear on your minting page and in marketplaces.
While you can modify the minting page name and URL later, the original name on the blockchain is permanent.
3. Token Symbol
Provide an abbreviated identifier for your tokens (e.g., "ART" will display tokens as ART #1, ART #2, etc.).
4. Price
Set the price for minting an NFT, excluding protocol and gas fees. For free minting, set this value to 0, allowing users to only cover the protocol and gas fees.
5. Supply
Define the total number of copies available in the collection. Selecting the "Unlimited" checkbox will make the collection unlimited, which you can restrict later.
6. Collection Description
Add a description that will appear on the minting page and serve as the default description for your tokens on all marketplaces.
7. Collection Description
To replace an item, click on "remove" icon and upload a new file.
8. Blockchain
Choose the mainnet or testnet for your collection deployment. OmniHub supports most poppular chains, and a search bar is provided for quick selection.
Adding Artwork
The Artwork Section provides two methods to define your NFT media:
Upload Your Own Artwork
Click the "Upload your file" button to upload your artwork. Once uploaded, they will appear in the interface. To replace an item, click on it and upload a new file.
Generate Artwork with AI
Click "Ask AI" and describe the artwork you have in mind. The OmniHub AI will create art based on your description.
Post-Deployment Steps
After deployment, your Editions collection will become active. Your project dashboard will display important details such as:
Mint page
The contract address
Transaction details, with links to view them on the blockchain explorer
